What to know before you book
- Every student must have a permit to take lessons.
- Students must take 10 hours of lessons for Drive Safe to give them their driver’s license test.
- If you choose the 10-hour package: Once you book your first lesson, you’ll receive an automated follow-up email with next steps and links to schedule the remaining three lessons (you can do all scheduling online, at your convenience).
- You can enter a pick-up and drop-off location as you schedule each lesson (these can be home, school, the place where the student does extracurriculars, the driving school office in PV, or a public spot like the library).
- Practice is so important! The more time a student has behind the wheel, the better (and safer).
- As a parent who has taught 2 of my own kids to drive and volunteered as a coach for several sports, I believe confidence is the key to better driving skills. You can rest assured I will teach your child (or you) with calm and patience … and fun. 10-Hour Package
Earn A Driver’s License
This package includes four 2.5-hour sessions. During the final session, the student will take the driver’s license exam. Once the student has had a permit for six months (or immediately if the student is 18+), take your Drive Safe Driving School certificate to the MVD and pick up your driver’s license (no further road test required).

Take one lesson at a time
This package includes a single 2.5-hour lesson. Take lessons as needed, whether it’s to get those first few hours under your belt or to pay in installments for the 10 hours needed to take your road test with Drive Safe Driving School.
